Every new audio project, every new
music composition at UKO begins
with one essential question:

How can we reach

our objectives and still create a truly unique sound?

The answer is never the same.

And we love that.

ABOUT

Where it all started

It all began in a loft. Not just any loft, but a repurposed factory hall where aerospace components were once engineered. Twenty years ago, this industrial relic was transformed into a creative epicenter for sound. The site that once produced Unidentified Flying Objects became the birthplace of Unidentified Klang (German for “sound”) Objects – our playful nod from UFO to UKO.

Our philosophy

UKO isn’t just a name – it’s our mindset. Whether we’re working with music, mixing tools, voices, sound sources or even AI-generated sounds, our approach stays the same: every project is a fresh canvas. We refuse to follow the beaten path. Instead, we challenge norms, push creative limits, and treat every project as an opportunity to invent something unique.

What makes our music truly unique

Authenticity meets innovation in everything we produce. What sets us apart is our collaborative model: a handpicked network of music professionals – from hip-hop, pop, electronic and alternative to soundscapes and cinematic scoring. Each artist brings their own voice to the table, pitching ideas that are as diverse as they are daring. Together, we shape the sound that fits your vision – without driving up costs compared to conventional composition workflows.
